Someone once told me that if you could have done that then you would be living a more blessed life. I gave it a deep thought and scanned my life from childhood to present. It didn't convince me much to go with the statement because I believe that you are the controller of your life and if you have that will and passion to alter your life, no matter what the situation is, you will at any moment.
Not everyone of us is coming from a filthy rich background so how can we assure that our roots are strong. With basic education, basic living conditions from past, many of us are performing remarkably well in present. And the reason is? These are our efforts, our trust on ourselves and positive mindset which made us confident to build a strong foundation on the roots which are not much engrossed inside our life's base.
Never complaint about what you have not able to get in your past. Rather, focus on what you can add now to your personality to add value on what you are currently up to. There are immense opportunities to grow and learning has no age limit. Grab it, add it to your portfolio and shine bright at each stage of your life.
